The magazine's review commented that the Night Hawk was a ‘great introduction to basic DIY security surveillance’ and added ‘(the) kit from Swann is an easy way to get started!’
The article highlighted various scenarios that the Night Hawk could be best used for, including watching the kids while they’re in the pool/backyard or monitoring the office or home.
‘PC World’ rated the camera highly across the board. The features of the Night Hawk, scored an 8 out of 10. The value for money factor also scored an 8 out of 10, with the camera currently retailing for 9 (in Australia and New Zealand).
